| Home Composting Education Programs |
As a part of Southern Idaho Solid Waste's efforts to reduce the amount of waste being sent to the landfill, we provide a home composting education program. The program includes educational displays at events such as the CSI Home & Garden Expo and Twin Falls' Earth Day celebration, occasional composting workshops throughout the district, and a variety of brochures and information. The goal of this program is to get residents to reduce the amount of organic materials they throw away (lawn and garden trimmings, fall leaves, food scraps) and compost them instead.
